Starting in the middle of August through September, I like to start to transition my wardrobe for fall. I love to look out for key pieces that I can style now and style later. For many years Express has been a go to place for me to shop great staples for any season. There is this perception that quality workwear pieces have to be expensive. But I have found some of my favorite staples that I have worn for years at Express, where their clothes are a more affordable price. Which means I don’t have to splurge on a whole new wardrobe for a transition into a new season.
I saw this Express blazer and was instantly drawn to the color of it! It’s a beautiful sage green that transitions very well from summer to fall. Here I styled it for the summer with cream work pants and a white bodysuit. But you could style it for the fall with a black work pants and a light brown bodysuit underneath! The material of the blazer is like nothing I have in my closet. It is double lined and incredibly soft to the touch.
